Negative taken of Cora McHenry, Executive Director of the Arkansas Education Association in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Cora McHenry, who grew up in Augusta, Woodruff County, Arkansas, one of 12 children. McHenry graduated from Southern University at Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She also attended Hamilton College in New York; Stillman College in Alabama; the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Washington County; Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Craighead County; and Arkansas Agricultural, Mechanical, and Normal School in Pine Bluff, Jefferson County. McHenry worked as an administrative assistant for Governor Dale Bumpers and as his education administrative aide. She had also worked as a teacher of English and French; helped organize a day care center at Camden, Ouachita County, Arkansas and assisted with human relations conferences at state, regional and national levels. Along with other members of her family, she established a scholarship fund at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (formerly Arkansas Agricultural, Mechanical and Normal School).
